Anjelica Huston Bio
Anjelica Huston is an American actress and director ( HEW-stn; born July 8, 1951). She has won numerous honors, including an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award, and has been nominated for three British Academy Film Awards and six Primetime Emmy Awards. She is well known for frequently playing odd and unusual characters. She received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2010.
She hesitantly made her big-screen debut in her father’s 1969 film A Walk with Love and Death. She is the daughter of director John Huston and the granddaughter of actor Walter Huston. Huston relocated from London to New York City, where she spent the 1970s working as a model. She made the decision to pursue acting seriously in the early 1980s, and after making her breakthrough in the 1985 film Prizzi’s Honor, which was also directed by her father, she joined John and Walter Huston as a member of the third generation of her family to win an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.
As a mistress in Crimes and Misdemeanors (1989), a long-absent wife in Enemies, A Love Story (1989), a con man in The Grifters (1990), the Grand High Witch in The Witches (1990), Morticia Addams in the Addams Family movies (1991–1993), and an intrepid writer in Manhattan Murder Mystery (1993), she gained additional critical and popular acclaim.
Raul Julia Bio
Actor Ral Rafael Carlos Juliá y Arcelay was born in Puerto Rico and passed away on October 24, 1994. He was renowned for playing challenging and distinctive roles in theatre and cinema. He began his career in the Public Theatre before moving into the film industry. He garnered numerous honours, including four Tony Award nominations, a Drama Desk Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Award. He was rated one of the top actors who were never nominated for an Academy Award by The Daily Telegraph in 2017.
He was raised in San Juan and had an interest in acting while still in school. After finishing his education, he pursued acting professionally. He first performed locally for a while before being persuaded to relocate to New York City by actor and entertainment figure Orson Bean. Being bilingual since he was a little child, Julia quickly developed a passion for Broadway and Off-Broadway productions. He participated in projects that were movable, such as the Puerto Rican Traveling Theater. Producer Joseph Papp soon took note of Julia and offered him a job with the New York Shakespeare Festival.
