The ‘Angel That Brought Me Into This World’: Kristin Chenoweth laments the passing of her biological mother Lynn. “The ten-plus years I knew her were magic,” Chenoweth said in a moving tribute on Instagram on Sunday.

The passing of Kristin Chenoweth’s biological mother has left her in mourning.

The 55-year-old Schmigadoon! actress shared a heartfelt obituary of her biological mother Lynn on Instagram on Sunday. In addition to writing a touching eulogy, Chenoweth posted pictures of Lynn taken over the course of her life and tender ones of the two of them together.

“I was born into this earth, but the angel has left us. She goes by Lynn. Mamalynn a.k.a. Over ten years of my knowing her were magical,” Chenoweth said. “When I met her and got to know her, a lot of things about myself became evident to me. We who knew her cherished her radiance. her appreciation for music and the creative arts. a creator herself!”

The mother of the lovely Jennifer and the adorable Chris, the Broadway star continued. Heaven knows how much she loved her children.

“While still inside her, I developed a love for Jimi Hendrix, Doyle Bramhall, Stevie Ray, and Jimmie Vaughan, and, of course, Billy Ethridge, my biological father. The natural artistic talent I possess today was given to me by the two of them, she added.

The former cast member of Wicked stated, “Mamalynn prayed for me every year on my birthday, hoping I was having the most perfect life, which of course, I was.” I secretly prayed for her as well, hoping that I would be able to thank her one day, which I did on December 12, 2012. A lovely day!”
